The Sculling I program is for rowers who have completed the ACR Novice Sculling course or a similar program and want to continue developing their sculling skills and technique, as well as improving their physical fitness. The goal of this program is to become a proficient sculler who can row for a long period without a missed stroke. Focus will be on improving the balance in the boat, executing proper catch and release, and synchronizing with other rowers. The coach will seat rowers in the boats (primarily quads) in varied positions so rowers can experience the responsibilities of each seat.
The program runs from July 14 through September 13 and has two sessions:
Session 1 - Sunday mornings, 8:00 to 9:30 am and Tuesday evenings, 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
Session 2 - Thursday evenings, 6:30 to 8:00 pm and Saturday mornings, 8:00 to 9:30 am.
Program Fee: $285
