The Uncoached Sculling program is intended for owners of private singles/doubles who rent rack space at the boathouse (view the "Rack Rentals" tab for more information).

Access to the small fleet of club boats is on a space-available basis and coached programs have priority usage. ACR currently has a very limited number of club-owned single sculls that are shared among its programs. To use an ACR single without being acompanied by a launch, a rower must:

1) demonstrate competence in navigation and boat handling;
2) pass a flip test; and
3) be authorized by an ACR coach or dockmaster.

Uncoached rowers must sign out in a rowing log before and after they row for safety checks.

See the ACR Handbook for additional details.
