This program is intended for owners of private singles/doubles who rent rack space at the boathouse.  Access to the small fleet of club boats is on a space available basis and coached programs have priority usage.  ACR currently has a very limited number of club owned single sculls to be shared among its programs.  To use an ACR single without a coach's launch on hand, a rower must (1) be a member of another ACR team or program, (2) pass a flip test, and (3) be authorized by an ACR coach or dockmaster after demonstrating competence in navigation and boat handling.
ACR has a limited number of racks for rent to members who have privately owned single sculls.  You must be a member to rent a rack.  Racks are for single sculls only, and owners must have insurance coverage for their boats.  Rack space for other types of watercraft is not available.
Uncoached rowers must sign out in a rowing log before and after they row for safety checks.  See ACR Handbook for specific requirements.
